For example, when I paint...

For example, when I paint, I pour paints on the canvas while it is flat on the ground. When I put up it, the paints flow down by using the theory of the gravity. During this process, I move canvas like blowing winds. After the paints dry up, I set the canvas upside down. The canvas shows botanical or organic drawings, shapes and spaces which represent nature directly, more than brush strokes. Growing from the ground to the sky deals with the theory of nature. My paintings show these theories.

I try not to consider composition beforehand. I keep working for discovering unusual compositions which fits my invisible vision. When I meet with the space which inspires me, I start to consider compositions, and to imagine the psychological spaces I want to create. I don't suggest specific images in my works. I try to give possibilities to viewers so that they can come through my art in their own ways.

I am particular about the earth colors. The most important color is light yellow; it implies sunlight in my works. Because of the sunlight, the natural world shows delicate color nuances. For example, a surface of a leaf shows various green chromes. I prefer not depict a realistic leaf, but I observe every detail of nature as seeds for ideas. I use simple color palettes: bluish, reddish, yellowish.... I use color chrome and tone rather than color hue to translate the colors into the lights and shadows in the natural world.
